The length of a periodization program varies on what a client is looking for. We can provide a one week snippet of what is to come with our services, One month to break through a plateau, or multiple months for a longer solution to your fitness needs. .
Rebirth Package
-
A package provides Rebirth Athletics the opportunity to not only build your program but also meet with you to see how things are going. Sometimes a extra set of eyes is all you need.
How do we build programs?
Building a program is not just slamming some workouts together and taking mirror pictures to show off your progress. There is a careful needs analysis and athlete assessment that will be preformed to make sure the proper SAID is achieved.
Specificity- Specific Adaptation to Imposed Demands SAID.
Reversibility- If you do use it you lose it. We will build a program that takes the concept of detraining into consideration.
Variability- What can I do within a program to optimize performance?
Overload- We know that not pushing hard enough will leave growth on the table but, overtraining will negate all of our hard work. We are looking to cause progressive overload without diminishing returns.
Needs Analysis
A Needs Analysis gives you and your coach a clear understanding of where to focus your training. The goals of a high school athlete and a mother returning to fitness are vastly different, and your program should reflect that. Through an in-depth interview, research into your specific goals, and targeted testing, we’ll identify the key areas that matter most. These initial tests create a baseline for your performance, which we’ll periodically retest to track measurable progress and ensure your program evolves with you.
Movement Analysis- What are common movements what you would like to perform?
Physiological Analysis- What physical qualities are we looking to enhance?
Musculoskeletal- Hypertrophy, Strength, Power, Speed
Energy Systems- Anaerobic, Aerobic, Endurance
Mobility, Flexibility, Stability
Injury Analysis- Are there any previous injuries we need to worry about? Are there any common injuries that come with your desired activity?
